The philosophy

This isn't
a toy.

tribute.

In 1954, a 28-year-old Hans Herrmann drove a 110-horsepower Porsche 550 Spyder across 3,000 kilometers of Mexico in the Carrera Panamericana — one of the most dangerous road races ever run. Car No. 55 won its class and finished third overall, outrunning cars twice its size.

Rähle's first car is a hand-built tribute to that Spyder — built piece by piece in Argentina, on a tubular steel-and-aluminum chassis, true to the proportions and spirit of the original.

Adjustable pedal box

The pedals slide forward and back on a track, so the same car fits a smaller driver today and a taller one next year — no refit required.

Speed limiter

A built-in limiter caps top speed while a new driver is learning. Turn it up as they get more confident behind the wheel.

Tubular chassis

A hand-welded steel-and-aluminum spaceframe — the same construction method used on real vintage race cars, not a toy shell over a go-kart frame.

Independent suspension

Coilover shocks at each corner, tuned to soak up a real dirt track instead of bouncing over it.

Real brakes

Hydraulic disc brakes, not a friction pedal — the car stops the way it should, every time.

Functional steering

A true steering rack connects the wheel to the front wheels directly, with the road feel of the original.

Body

Fiberglass keeps it light and true to period race cars. Aluminum is hand-formed over the original's proportions, panel by panel.

Seating

Single seat, like the works cars that raced the Panamericana. Two seat for sharing the drive.
